Update! :)

I just wanted to update you guys on my life, and let you know what I've been up to lately. I just started school at American Professional Institute for medical assisting. I'm super excited about what the future holds for me and my fellow classmates. It's been some what tough getting back in the swing of school. But overall it's been rewarding, and I've surprised myself at how well I've done so far. Remember that you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you! :)

love is really all we need

I know the quote, "Love is all you need" is a bit cliche. But it's so very true. All we need is love. The epitome of love is Jesus Christ! He's all that we'll ever need. This may be the shortest blog I've ever written, but this concept is so simple.

LOVE/ CHRIST IS ALL WE NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Sending out a BIG & HEART-WARMING hug to all the Mamas out there! I love my Mama so much, and I feel so blessed and honored to be her daughter. As I get older I realize how much moms sacrifice in carrying us for 9 whole months, spending sleep-less nights caring for us, and most importantly being there for us. I'm a mama's girl for sure and so glad to call my Mama my best friend! Love and hugs to MY MAMA!

Happy Mother's Day!!!!

My Most Favorite Shoes Ever!!!

I absolutely love flip flops! They are the best and most comfortable shoes ever created! I'd rather wear flip flops other than any other shoe that's out there. There are all kinds of different designs and colors of these awesome shoes. I always have a pair with me just in case the shoes I'm wearing become uncomfortable.
Flip flop love,
Stevie :)

I got to meet Jeremiah Yocom!!!

God has blessed me so much this year! One of the blessings was being able to go to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with Bethesda Fellowship and be in church with Brother Jeremiah Yocom and the team, and Sister Beth Stevens! They all are AMAZING inside and out! I felt like I was meeting celebrities! But it was even better than meeting a celeb, because they are part of the family of God! This was my first time going to a women's retreat, and I had the most life changing experience. It was nice to meet new friends, be around ladies that may not exactly believe the way I do, but who love our heavenly Father. I learned a lot during the 3 day retreat, and thank God for how He has blessed me. I feel humbled and so LOVED! :) I was so inspired by the preacher Sister Beth Stevens as well. She was wonderful. God is so good to us! PRAISE HIM!!! I pray that God will bless every traveling preacher and song minister across the world. BLESSINGS TO YOU!!

No Worries, Just Love!

Worrying gets us nowhere. When we worry about things it puts stress on us, and stress is not good for our health or other people around us. It's so hard for me to grasp this concept though. It's like I fret over the smallest things and then they become huge things in my life. I shouldn't allow the little things to become so big. Someone once told me "Don't sweat the small stuff."  That's so much easier said than done. I have learned in my life, when I began to worry, I put it into God's hands, and let Him be God of my life and control the things I cannot. I cast all of my cares on Him for HE CARES FOR ME. He never intended for me to carry the load of worry, guilt, shame, or anything else negative. He bore my sins and pain. And, he is the ONLY one who can. He's the only person in this life that I absolutely can't live without. His love is all that I NEED. Of course we all need the bare necessities, but without God's love I'd be a person most miserable. So if you are a worry-wart like me, take comfort in knowing that we don't have to be that. We can live a worry free life, when we give it all to the King of Kings, Jesus Christ! :)
No worries, Stevie

Happy 21st Birthday Liz!!

I want to wish my lovely littlest sister Elizabeth Ann a HAPPY and BLESSED Birthday! She's 21 years young today! I love her so much, words cannot be found to describe how much I really do love her. I admire the strength that God has given her. She is so talented, intelligent, loving, brave, true, and gorgeous. She is the bestest littlest most baby sister anyone could ever ask for. I'm so proud and blessed to be her big sister. Liz and I have a special bond, we always have. It's an unspoken heart string that is just "there". When we hang out together I feel complete. It's like the other part of me is fulfilled. I LOVE YOU BABY SISTER! YOU ARE #1! Robinson Girls FOREVER! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

UI am my beloved’s & beloved is mine U

I absolutely LOVE Valentine's Day....hahaha! It's a day set aside to show your loved ones just how much you really value and appreciate all they do for you. I think it's awesome that we have a day dedicated to manifesting and proving our love to each other. I wish everyday was Valentine's Day. Actually it should be!! We should show everyone that we come in contact with how much God loves them. He loves them so much that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life John3:16.  I think it's just amazing love that the Father gave us such pure, wonderful, precious love. I could never thank Him enough for all He's done for me. I mean we have a book of love letters written to us from our King of Glory, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He's the man of all time, the one, the only that can give us such great, amazing LOVE!!!!! I can't put into words the awesomeness of how His love makes me feel or understand fully how he could love me so much. I feel so unworthy to have this priceless pearl of great price. :) Amazing LOVE I know is true, it's my joy to honor you, in all I do, I honor you. It wasn't nails that held Jesus to the cross, it was HIS LOVE FOR US that made Him pay the cost. Oh how the angels must have cried watching helpless as he died, to bring us love, perfect love, HIS KIND OF LOVE.
Love, hugs, and kisses, Stevie

PS. I have a post that has a lot of scripture on love:"Let it go!" LOVE unconditionally!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FRIENDS!!! <3

Learning to Dance in The Rain!

"When it rains it pours." Just because it's a nasty, rainy day outside doesn't mean you have to feel icky or down. Remember that the rain waters our gardens, fills up our lakes, ponds, rivers, and creeks. Rain washes away the dirt and allows the earth to be watered. On a rainy day I like to stay in (if I don't have to work) stay in my pjs, drink a hot cup of joe, and read my bible. God's word is life unto me. It refreshes me like an afternoon shower on a hot day. It's so wonderful how God sends the natural rain and the spiritual rain. He is ALMIGHTY & FAITHFUL. The Holyghost is the RAIN! So let's open our hearts by praying and asking God to break up the fallow ground of our hearts and pour down the latter rain! :) I pray that whoever reads this bloggy will feel the refreshing of the rain of the Holyghost. SEND DOWN THE RAIN, LORD!

Rainy days.......Stevie.

REVIVAL!

I was getting prayer. It really does change things.

Singing for Jesus! :)

Praise and worshipping the LORD!

I was singing at Jesus New Covenant Church in Gainesville, Ga

The platform

What is revival? What does it mean? Where does it take place? Who does it take to have it? When does it take place? Why do we need revival?

  • In my opinion revival means to revive something. It means to bring back to life, or raise from the dead.
  • It takes place in the inner man that dwells within the heart of man.
  • It takes willing men and women, who will sacrifice their life and their wants to fast and pray.
  • Revival takes place when those willing vessels begin to seek God with all their heart, and become desperate for a move or touch from HIM!
  • We NEED revival so that we will get on fire for the Lord and begin to reach the lost at any cost, suddenly the old things are passed away and behold all things are made new. Once God baptizes us with the Holyghost and Fire we will be an effective witness for Him, and begin to WIN SOULS unto the Kingdom of God! :)

The definition of revival from the Wikipedia is resuscitation of a person.

Let it GO!!!! Love unconditionaly! 1 John 4:20

Sometimes in life it's hard to just forgive and let it go. Let bygones be bygones. Maybe you feel like someone has wrongfully acused you or simply made you feel bad or hurt. It's not always easy to forgive and forget because you're hurting. You just want the other person to realize what they did and take responsiblity for the wrong they caused. And, you hope that in the end they will see the truth. You want to feel like your point was made or justified. But, others don't always do the right thing. I'm by far not perfect, nor do I claim to be, but I can admit that I'm wrong. Even if it takes me awhile. LOL!!

I'd like to think that everyone should live by the Golden Rule, something I was taught as a child. "Do unto other as you would have them do unto you." If everyone would live by this GOLDEN RULE the world would surely be a better place. Unfortunatly not everyone does, including myself. I've making a conscience decision to improve the way I treat others. To go out of my way, if I have to, to make someone smile or uplift their spirits.

I recently realized that a kind word can do alot, but an unkind word can do even more, more hurt. We don't realize what someone goes through at home or what kind of personal problems they deal with. They could be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It's so important to put others first, and truly love each other. Not with words, but action. To manifest the kind of love the bible speaks about. "Unfeiged love"

1 John 4:20

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

John 14:23

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

1 John 4:16

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

John 13:34

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Romans 13:10

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

Luke 6:32

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

1 John 5:2

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

1 John 2:15

Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Song of Solomon 1:4

Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

John 15:10

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

1 Corinthians 8:3

But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

John 13:35

By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 14:15

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1 John 4:19

We love him, because he first loved us.

Moving Day!!!

I finally found a place to rent!!! It's not the 'perfect' location, but it's close to my loving grandmother (who is like a 2nd mama). I wanted a place near her in case she needed me for anything. I'm moving in with my sister Kimberly, my brother-in-law Brandon, and my lil nephew Peyton.

It's so exciting, tiring, and a bit frustrating to move into a new place. My car is packed down like the pack mule. ha ha! I couldn't get another box in it if I tried. As we were pulling out the driveway of my old apartment, I told my Mama "I feel like the Clampetts when they moved to Hollywood." Ha ha ha!

We're moving into a real nice almost new place. It has a beautiful yard, and I LOVE IT!!! :)

Go AWAY Mr. Cold!!!!

I've not been feeling good here lately. My throat is sore, and I have an awful sounding cough. My body has been a lil achy. But, today I feel A LOT better! :) I've been taking some meds and trying to get rest. I'm so thankful that God heals and sustains us. I want to give him all the praise for what he done for me at Calvary. He took the beatings and hung on the cross for us that we might be saved and healed! :]

Isaiah 53:5

But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with HIS STRIPES we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

We WERE healed at Calvary! Blessings to you, Stevie

GOODBYE 2010, HELLO 2011!!

As 2010 comes to an end, I reflect on all of the things I've experience this past year. At the beginning of 2010 I was working in a warehouse for a short period of time. After being laid off; I began to look for work. Not being able to find anything, I decided to babysit my nieces and cousins. It was a fun filled summer and fall needless to say. I enjoyed spending the day with these wonderful children. There was never a dull moment! I'd take them to the pool next door to my Aunt's house, and we would spend the entire day there. Some days I'd take the kiddos to the park or we'd run errands. Then, once summer came to an end and fall crept in we'd usually watch TV or have computer time.

Little did I know my beautiful 5 year old niece Haley would pass over into eternal life in October of 2010. Losing this beautiful baby girl is the hardest, most difficult experience I have EVER been through. I can't begin to put into words the pain and the loss I have felt. Somehow God has given me the strength to keep going on. Without his love and the prayers of all of my family and friends I would not be able to make it. I'm so thankful for all of the time and memories that Haley and I shared. I hold those very close to my heart, and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I just long for the day when I get to see her again and feel her loving hugs or her sweet voice!!! She brought so much sunshine to my life and I will miss her so much. But, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is in heaven with my savior, and he has a plan. Everything works out to the good to them that love the Lord!! I may not know why, but I don't have to. I trust in JESUS CHRIST, that he does.

I know that 2011 has lots of blessings in store! Look ahead and thank God for what he is going to do for you in the new year! Happy New Year everyone!
