I've Decided To Go To Beauty School! :)

I've decided to make a career change!! Instead of being a medical assistant, I want to be a cosmetologist! This is a drastic change, but I feel that it will definitely be a positive and successful one! I'm beyond ecstatic to start this new journey! I'm looking into the Georgia Institute of Cosmetology in Gainesville, Georgia. Looking forward to learning about how to cut, color, and style hair!!!

Presidential Election 2012

I voted early for the first time this year. After all the debates and such I decided on who I'd vote for. I think it's important for everyone to vote. So many people fought for our right to vote and we such exercise our privilege to do so!! We are blessed to live in a country where we can choose our president. So don't hesitate on casting your ballot this election day! :)

Hey Y'all! It's Been a While!!

Ok, so I've been MIA lately. I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, although on blogger it may seem that way. Lol. I've been crazy busy with my new job that I just let my blog go for a while. I am going to try my best to get back into writing more blogs. I actually enjoy writing and I find it fun to look back at my old posts and see what I've written. I may not post everyday, but I do intend on at least posting once a week. Hope life's been good to y'all!

I Did It!!!

I finished school.....FINALLY!! :) So Blessed that God gave me what it took to complete this goal in my life! I'm now officially a Medical Assistant!!! Thank you to all my family and friends for their support during this journey. I'm looking forward to what the next chapter in life holds. With God all things are possible. When you feel like you've walked the last mile, HOLD on and keep putting one foot in front of the other. YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOALS!! So BLESSED!! :)

Update! :)

I just wanted to update you guys on my life, and let you know what I've been up to lately. I just started school at American Professional Institute for medical assisting. I'm super excited about what the future holds for me and my fellow classmates. It's been some what tough getting back in the swing of school. But overall it's been rewarding, and I've surprised myself at how well I've done so far. Remember that you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you! :)

love is really all we need

I know the quote, "Love is all you need" is a bit cliche. But it's so very true. All we need is love. The epitome of love is Jesus Christ! He's all that we'll ever need. This may be the shortest blog I've ever written, but this concept is so simple.

Sending out a BIG & HEART-WARMING hug to all the Mamas out there! I love my Mama so much, and I feel so blessed and honored to be her daughter. As I get older I realize how much moms sacrifice in carrying us for 9 whole months, spending sleep-less nights caring for us, and most importantly being there for us. I'm a mama's girl for sure and so glad to call my Mama my best friend! Love and hugs to MY MAMA!
